it’s tilda time- everything she wears, everywhere she goes, everything she does- setting the standard for chic!

katherine mathilda “tilda”swinton isn’t new news, i talk about her all the time- i love her! chic, elegant, sophisticated- the hollywood original! she’s pretty much a fixture on my weekly week of chic best dressed list- read here. she pretty much steals the spotlight on the red carpet at every awards show- read here. most important, she is one of my favorite women- read here! she inspires me, moves me, reassures me- she sets the standard!

this week i was driving down san vicente blvd in west hollywood late in the morning. i looked over to my left and i saw this tall blond woman walking hand in hand with a gentleman. she was wearing all white. a tailored blazer over a flowing tiered over the knee skirt, with heels of course- i think it was givenchy! i thought, is that tilda? the closer i got i realized it was! as you can imagine i was pretty much beside myself!

i was actually in disbelief, this moment was so telling- the rest of hollywood would have been in a t-shirt, long cardigan, cargo’s and flip flops that time of morning. for sure they wouldn’t have been walking in la, especially not at the corner of san vicente and santa monica blvd, there would have been a driver and a black car. for sure they wouldn’t have been in all white givenchy! so unassuming, so real, so cool, so chic- so original!
