it’s that time of year when we all get a little spring fever. what better medicine than a few 2012 spring fashion campaigns. pretty is back, color is everywhere- spring is here!

there are a few names that dominate the 2012 spring campaigns. photographers mert and marcus shot stella mccartney, gucci, givenchy and calvin klein. steven meisel did balenciaga, roberto cavalli, lanvin and prada. a new name willy vanderperre shot 50′s inspired collections by jil sander and proenza schouler. legends tom ford and karl lagerfeld took complete creative control and shot their own campaign’s- that’s chic!

my favorite campaigns were céline and valentino (for those who follow the blog on a regular basis i’m sure this doesn’t come as much of a surprise), however completely opposite of each other. céline is simple, clean and graphic. valentino is romantic, airy and pretty. lastly, model karlie kloss is so gorgeous in the oscar de la renta and elie saab’s campaigns- she gets the super model prize!

Darling, you have the very best eye! i wish you would come over, do my house, and then after, over martinis, go through my closet (I have a feeling you would be kind, but honest “no honey, the window for a heel that high at your age has closed” etc.) thank you for being such a wonderful part of my mornings!
