A NEW LOVE- Lorenzo Castillo

i have a new favorite home, a new favorite interior designer, new inspiration- a new love!

interior designer lorenzo castillo’s home, also his studio and showroom, in the heart of madrid is the most elegant residence i’ve seen in quite a while. something very special, unique, authentic, as well as, elegant, refined, sophisticated- love!

the 11,000 square foot space in a former convent, featured in the new elle decor, photographed by one of my favorite photographers, simon upton, is the perfect mix of pedigreed antiques, vintage pieces along with many designs by castillo himself- a new love!

i love the range of blues throughout. the range of prints and patterns- paisleys, florals, stripes, ikats. i love the expansive drawing room with multiple seating areas, especially the ivory sofas tipped in blue. the gallery with an eclectic mix of rattan chairs, upholstery and antiques- chic! the courtyard with jansen wicker daybeds- obsessed! my new favorite thing, sanderson wallpaper in the guest room and living room- love!
