  • there really isn’t anyone or anything that is more chic, glamorous or stylish than the legendary vogue editor anna wintour- well there is one thing- her house in long island!

    what i love about this home is simple- yes, it’s chic, glamorous and stylish, but more importantly, it’s casual, comfortable and cozy- very feminine! i love everything about it- the perfect country home! a perfect place to rest, relax, rejuvenate! i’m thinking it’s exactly what i need!

    first, i love the gardens by landscape designer miranda brooks- she is a favorite! second, i love interior designer jesse carrier’s simple formulas- comfortable upholstery, English antiques, painted finishes, weathered fabrics, muted prints-lot’s of pillows, books, pottery and baskets- a perfect mix! i guess that’s what you call country chic!

    the house photographed by eric boman for the world of interiors is one of my favorites- casual and chic, comfortable and glamorous, cozy and stylish! i guess that’s what you call vogue living!

    just last week i ran into jesse, Anna and bee shaffer, anna’s daughter, shopping all my favorite home stores here in la- more vogue living in the works i expect!

    it is the perect ENGLISH Country House !!! only it’s not in the hampton’s WELL DONE , as only Anna would have it.
