when you hear the name marliyn- what comes to mind?  i’m certain it’s marilyn monroe! marilyn- the one and only, never will there be another! the name says it all!

marilyn monroe is known for many things- a sex symbol, the blonde, an icon, an actress, a true all-american beauty, most known for being a troubled starlet! when i think about marilyn, of course all these things cross my mind, but what also comes to my mind is her timeless style- classic, simple and elegant! not what most people think of.

like all of you i think about how marilyn looked in the movies, but what she was in real life is more on my mind- the pencil skirts, trench coats, the sheath dresses, the pumps, the furs, the blouses- classic! color choices of black, grey, camel and ivory- simple! tousled hair, red lips, pearls- elegant!

marilyn monroe- known to the world as the sex symbol, the blond bombshell, the tragedy, however, in my mind known as classic, simple, elegant, and of course- chic!
