last week i did a post on english actress, singer, hermès birkin bag namesake and style icon jane birkin- she’s what it’s all about! timelsss, classic, pretty and very chic!

what could be better? the only i can think of is adding in her lover serge gainsbourg. a complicated charachter- a singer, songwriter, poet, composer, artist actor and director. he was influential, extreme, complicated and very cool!

jane and serge met and fell in love on the set of the movie slogan, their relationship lasted over a decade and they had a daughter charlotte gainsbourg.

enjoy a collection of timeless and classic photographs of them together- a beauty and a complicated artist is love. what i love most about these pictures is her every present straw bag, ironically not the leather hermès birkin bag she is most known for! all the time, no matter the occasion or the time of year the straw bag is always near- now that’s chic!

in my book jane is pretty much everything, serge is cool and the straw bag is beyond chic!
