RUFFLES, COLOR AND STRIPES- SPRING 2013 MILAN- PART 2

i can’t believe the spring 2013 milan fashion week has come and gone. let’s say goodbye with two of my favorite collections from gucci and dolce & gabbana– bellissimo!

appropriately, both collections had italian themes- one a little sexy, the other more casual! the late 60’s and early 70’s in capri was the vibe at gucci! think marisa berenson, lee radziwill and marella agnelli. think tunics, trousers and column dresses.

dolce & gabbana once again took us to Sicily, a common theme from the last few collection- i guess if it’s not broke, don’t fix it! think shorts, tops and playful dresses!

beyond the italian themes, the collections had a few other things in common! can you believe all the ruffles, i’m loving the rainbow of color and of course, i’m ecstatic about all the stripes!

let’s make it simple for you – if you missed milan, whatever mood you are in, all you need to do is think ruffles, color and my favorite- stripes! divertiti!
