one of my favorite posts is the post i did last year on power couple alexandra and michael misczynsk of atelier am- los angeles based interior designers, married and brilliant!

their new book , interiors- atelier am which was at the top of my fall book list is also brilliant. one of my favorite homes designed by this power couple is this Mediterranean- style house with modern restraint in rancho sante fe, california. the house has been published in vogue, veranda, architectural digest and now photographed by the brilliant francois halard for the new book!

the range of pictures from all these publications truly paint the picture, however, there is a collection of words that enter my mind that help with my story- precise, simple, authentic, minimal, reduced, refined, distilled, past, present, patina, comfortable, reclaimed, time-worn, aged, weathered, clean, crisp, curated, collected, balanced, still, open, discreet, honest and strong!
