I love living in LA! The weather, the design community, the casual lifestyle, the film industry, the shopping, the museums, however, i think my favorite thing is all the LA ladies!

There is an energy and glow to california girls- especially some of my favorite LA leading ladies! they were all out and about at the second annual LACMA Art + Film Gala honoring Stanley Kubrick and Ed Ruscha. Most of them were dressed in Gucci who sponsored the event! The best part of the event was the special performance by Florence and the Machine. My only regret this past summer was that i didn’t see Florence perform at the Hollywood bowl- She is so Chic! Come back please!

If they weren’t in Gucci at night they were running around LA shopping during the day! Even better they were all shopping in casual all black outfits- note the céline bags and the chic shoes!

i don’t know what it is but i’ve always had this thing for this weeks week of chic best dressed lady- jennifer aniston! maybe it’s because i grew up with her watching friends, maybe it’s because she simply glows, defies age, has her own all-american sense of style, seems uncomplicated, however, i think the real reason is she just seems nice! really and truly every time i see her she has a big smile on her face!

there are lot’s of pretty LA ladies, but this week there is only one leading lady! better yet, she’s not only beautiful and best dressed- she’s nice too!
