TIME TO DECORATE- Myrtle Topiaries

it’s time to decorate! this weekend i’ll be pulling out the holiday decor!

i keep it simple- garland and wreaths made of eucalyptus, bay leaves and evergreen, potted christmas trees in various sizes, tons of potted paperwhites and amaryllis- all- white of course! always in the mix are myrtle topiaries- i love them! a holiday favorite, an all year long favorite- today, a friday favorite!

in the spring i love Myrtle topiaries mixed with simple spring floral arrangements , in the summer with potted orchids, in the fall with potted herbs and during the holidays with paperwhites and amaryllis- and again, white of course!

i have to say myrtle topiaries are not easy to come by these days, especially in la. however, in nyc, they are readily available at this very chic florist on lexington ave. called plaza flowers. I’m heading to nyc in a few weeks to shop, i’ll be stopping in!

i’m going to be honest, the holidays can be a bit daunting- so much to do! cards, gifts, parties, family galore, but i always look forward to decorating! i keep it easy- myrtle topiaries, lots of green and even more white! enjoy!

photographs from tone on tone antiques, snug harbor farms, lonny magazine and pinterest of course.
