I have to say there are weeks when it is tough to come up with a weekly best dressed list, but this week isn’t one of them! there were actually so many best dressed ladies the editing process was intense- the main reason, there were so many ladies in Valentino!

this weeks main events, The British Fashion Awards and opening of Valentino: Master of Couture at Somerset House in london , were the catalyst for all the best dressed ladies.

Designer Stella Mccartney and pretty much everything Alexa Chung showed up at both. actually they didn’t just show up, Stella won Designer of the Year and Designer Brand of the year,  Alexa won the Vodafone- sponsored award for style leadership at the 2012 British Fashion Awards. and they just showed up chic at the Valentino retrospective.

then there is mega model Kristin McMenamy pretty in pink, always chic designer Carolina Herrera, always dior-ed Actress Marion Cotillard, recurring blog subject this week model Carolyn Murphy – all making the highly intense edited list this week!

lastly, i always use this list to introduce “musts to know”. may i introduce model Edie Campbell- one to watch! why? because she is so cute, always best dressed, has that something special and i’m in love with her new short hair!

oh, and need i mention week of chic best dressed Carolina Issa in the most beautiful Erdem dress (almost as pretty at Keira Knightley’s a few weeks ago)! this week is all about Valentino’s gals and erdem’s gal! enjoy!
