HOLIDAY STYLE

today i picked up my custom evergreen, bay-leaf and eucalyptus wreaths and garland, paperwhites and white amaryllis are potted, citron satin ribbons are pressed, mercury glass is gleaming, myrtle topiaries are waiting, ornaments have been resurrected- i’m ready to decorate!

so is designer stephen sills! i’m such a big fan of his talent and his design work- he knows how to live with great style! his bedford, new york country home is one of my favorites. actually, it’s probably one of my favorites of all time! you can only imagine how thrilled i was to see how this home was decorated for the holidays in the most recent issue of veranda, photographed by max kim-bee.

tomorrow the decorating will begin- i can’t wait for the candles to be lit! to help inspire i thought it would be fun to do a before and after story on one of my favorite homes- before and after the decorating! before and after style! holiday style!
