WHAT ABOUT A BOB

when it comes to hair advice for girls i’ve always said the same thing, i’m very consistent, hair length should either be slightly above mid back, below the shoulder blades (think aerin lauder or cindy crawford), or above the shoulders in a bob- i love a bob!

i  can go one step further, hair should be the longer version in the spring and the summer, ready for a ponytail or a simple chignon at all times, and cut into a bob for the fall. if you really need a change, add a few bangs, but take my word you will start growing them out immediately. my advice might be silly, but it’s what i believe and i will stand by it always!

it seems it’s not just me who is loving a bob haircut right now. supermodels karlie kloss and daria werbowy have recently done it. might i add daria debuted the new length in this the most recent céline advertising, the bible if you ask me. and it girl’s, edie campbell and lily kwong have also just taken to the cut. i also noticed this week when i was in nyc that the shop girls at stella, chloe and céline all had bobs.

marina larrudé, who i featured yesterday, has a longer version bob and so do many of my other favorite women. when i started thinking about doing this post it resonated with me actually how many of my favorite women have loved a bob too- cz, grace, jackie, lee, gloria and lauren.

someone asked me the other day what i see as the big trend for 2013, that’s easy- a bob! ask me the same question next year and i’ll say a bob! i’m consistent and let’s be honest a bob is always right and it’s always pretty!

a bob- a friday favorite, a right now favorite, a forever favorite!
