One of my favorite things I do on the blog  is what I call a “Week of Chic” best dressed list every Saturday- browse the bright blue archive box on the right, you’ll see. So you can only imagine the fun I have putting together a year end best dressed list appropriately called the 2^nd Annual “Year of Chic” best dressed list- yes, it’s been 2 years! See last years here.

You will not be surprised to see the normal suspects on my list- The lsd, Tilda Swinton, Jennifer Connelly, Sofia Coppola, SJP, and Kate Moss, you know how much i love them! However, there are some new girls on the block- actresses Rooney Mara, Emma Stone, Anne Hathaway and Keria Knightley, models Miranda Kerr, Carolyn Murphy and Dree Hemingway, and many more new faces and old faces to the list!

You’ll also notice lots of black and white, a few pops of red, even a touch of denim. What you’ll also notice is my new love for the color green. I actually didn’t know how much I loved it until the list fruitioned. i guess my love of green rooms is influencing my fashion picks.

Then of course, there are lots of valentino and Oscar de la Renta dresses- this however is not a surprise! you know how much i love them- one thing i am is consistent!

Keep in mind this list isn’t just about these girls in just this one dress, it’s about how they dressed all year long. And there really isn’t a winner, that would be too difficult to choose, but there is one lady who had her moment, you’ll see, and she for sure had the best dress! Enjoy!
