sunday’s are usually the day i do posts on my favorite books- sunday book club. well today i thought i’d change things up and do a special edition post on spring 2013 advertising. there are two times a year when all the magazines breath new life- September with fall and February with spring. welcome to the spring issue!

what’s new? well, model daria werbowy seems to be the model du jour, landing céline and isabel marant- two of my favorite brands. also, newcomer british model edie campbell, who made my 2012 international it list (see here), is the face for saint laurent and burberry. speaking of burberry, romeo beckham, one of david and victoria beckham’s little boys, steals the show in the new campaign- adorable!

the big photographers of the moment are mert and marcus who shot about every campaign- emilio pucci and givenchy to name a few. then there is tom ford, karl lagerfeld and reed krakoff who shot their own campaigns- now that’s creative control!

when it comes to color there does seem to be a love for yellow! it is spring and nothing really says spring time more than sunshine yellow- hello yellow!

i guess not much looks or feels really new to me, and that’s ok, it doesn’t even really matter, because everything looks better in the spring! enjoy the spring issue!
