WHAT’S OLD IS NEW AGAIN

i have always had a passion for the art of watercolors, especially watercolors of rooms. i’ve thought it would be nice to have watercolors done for clients, whether it be a completed room i’ve decorated for them, or a rendering of a room concept… and i’ve always wanted to have each room of my home done in a watercolor.

this weekend, along with about everyone else i know, i discovered the app called waterlogue. it was so amazing, like in a matter of an hour, so many facebook and instgram messages were of watercolors. at first, i was like this is unbelievable that everyone loves watercolors as much as i do. then i realized it was an app everyone had discovered in a matter of days- it was truly a powerful creative revival that caught on everywhere…. so now i actually do get to have every room of my home done in watercolors in a matter of a few seconds.

i have just completely redecorated my home and we have done a pretty significant remodel too, it was time for an update…. every single thing both inside and outside has changed which is exciting in many ways, however, of course there are things i’m going to miss- now i will not only have photographs of the way it used to be, i will also have watercolors- watercolors by me!

all of a sudden watercolors by waterlogue has made what’s old feel completely new again- thank you waterlogue for this wonderful gift!

  1. Wow, Mark! You introduced me to Waterlogue and i played with it all evening. Also, your “before” watercolors of your home are so beautiful. Can’t wait to see the “after” photos. Thank you.

  2. I love the app too. As a realtor, i use it to snap a photo of a house, waterlogue it and send as a note after going on an appointment.
    Such a lovely personal touch!

  3. FABULOUS APP AND LOVE THE PHOTOS OF THE “BEFORE” LOOKING FORWARD TO THE “AFTER” DIDN’T THINK HRHLILY COULD LOOK MORE ADORABLE BUT SHE DOES IN THE “WATERCOLOR”.

  4. These are amazing mark. as a watercolor painter myself I am blown away. Though It would be great to see the actual photos of your home. The rooms look breathtaking! Bravo!
