one thing i can firmly say is everybody needs a fountain- it’s a must! the sound of water instantly calms, soothes, relaxes and for me energizes. in the spring and summer the windows in our home are always open, we can hear our fountain from about every room in our house- what i call water therapy!

here are a few of my favorite fountains. i especially love danielle rollins fountain at her gorgeous atlanta home called boxwood (interiors by my friend miles redd, see images from veranda here) with garden design by john howard. and my favorite fountain has to be janet de botton’s in the south of france- and those robin egg blue benches are to die for! it doesn’t matter if your garden is rustic, clean or formal a fountain is a must!

take my advice, fire your therapist, get a fountain! then enjoy!
