today is a special day- it’s mothers day! i thought i’d pay a tribute with images of some of favorite mothers and their children.

most important, i’d like to dedicate this post to my very special mother- Donna Sikes. i talk a lot about chic, glamorous and stylish women, my mother is all those things but she is much more! she is more of what really matters- she is loving, supportive, loyal, honest, forgiving, trusting, and kind. there really is nothing like my mother’s love, her calming voice, caring smile and generous touch- it means so very much!

because of my mother i have always felt i could do anything, that i was special, that opportunities and possibilities were endless, i have always felt loved, i know i am blessed- i celebrate this today!
