This past weekend we had the honor of decorating a showroom in the 4th Annual Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse in Dallas. Our “Villa Windowpane" is a multipurpose space fit for the modern age while inspired by the glamorous lifestyles of Bunny Mellon, Hubert de Givenchy, and Billy Baldwin. Functioning as a dining area, library, office, and retreat, this room is swathed in our signature blue-and-white palette that evokes modern classicism and a luxurious simplicity that could be right at home in the French countryside or along the Mediterranean Coast. The generous use of our new signature windowpane fabrics with Schumacher creates a comfortable sense of luxury, elegance and privacy.
It's always a thrill to work with the incredible vendors whose invaluable contributions help make our vision come to life! From Hubert de Givenchy’s Bergere chairs from La Jonchet (lovingly upholstered by Valley Drapery) to my signature Smythson stationary that I’ve favored the last 20 years—every detail of the room is so special.
