The new year is the perfect opportunity for a fresh start and there's nothing more refreshing than all of the beautiful shades of green found in nature. At Mark D. Sikes Interiors, we're looking forward to so much this coming year. In the midst of a gloomy winter indoors, I'm finding myself yearning for Spring's green. At the studio, we kicked off the new year by concepting a new project in Pasadena, a 1922 hacienda-style compound with an impressive architectural pedigree. My favorite part of the home's mainly neutral color scheme is the way we were able to weave in tones of green that echo the beautiful landscaping. Lately, I've been obsessed with all things verdigris; I'm so inspired by the bluish-green patina. Let's bring the beauty of lush, green gardens inside until we make it to Spring.

THE LILY COLLECTION

The Lily collection created in collaboration with Soane Britain brings rattan back indoors. The pieces include an armchair whose eye-catching base brings to mind a rippled fabric, a drum table, and a slipper chair in the manner of American style icon Billy Baldwin.
