We are thrilled to announce that our Bel Air project has been featured by Frederic. This home is featured as the second chapter, "February," in my upcoming book, Forever Beautiful, and we aptly named this chapter 'Old Hollywood Romance.' This project began with a client's vision to transform their guesthouse into a modern, livable retreat while preserving the Old Hollywood glamour of its Golden Era origins. Originally constructed in 1925, the structure once served as the horse stable for a silent film legend's prized Arabian stallions.

Our design approach for this project focused on preserving as many original details as possible, from the woodwork and tiles to the light fixtures. We had the privilege of collaborating with architect Marc Appleton, who also designed the surrounding landscape to enhance the property's beauty. To honor the Spanish Colonial Revival style, we added a coffered ceiling, hand-painted beams and ceiling planes, and adorned the exterior of the home with wrought iron trellises draped in fragrant bougainvillea. Additionally, the use of carmine red throughout the house added a moody and lovely contrast, perfectly complementing the romantic architecture.

Pre-order your copy of Forever Beautiful to explore this project further along with eleven others, debuting this September. Each pre-order includes a signed copy and an exclusive invitation to our virtual book launch, where the Forever Beautiful documentary will premiere. I am so excited to share this long-awaited project with you all very soon!

Make it Beautiful,
