You might recall our last newsletter, celebrating the project published in the current issue of Veranda-- this is another home for the same clients, who have truly become like family through the three homes we've designed for them. We're so thrilled to see this, their Malibu home, featured in the Winter issue of Traditional Home this month! This residence was designed to be a beach retreat, and it is truly inspired by the colors and textures of its coastal surroundings. I brought the beauty of the ocean into the home through a range of blues, from deep sea blues to the calming light seafoam blues found in the Master bedroom. Natural textures such as jute, rope, and seagrass bring in neutral tones of sand and driftwood. This project is also featured in my new book, More Beautiful, as part of the Coastal chapter.
