October brings a welcome return to the comforts of fall and we find ourselves drawn to rich textures, warm neutrals, and the timeless appeal of country living. This month’s inspiration comes from Templeton, the legendary Long Island estate of C.Z. Guest, where old school elegance, timeless beauty, and effortless style came together in perfect harmony. That same spirit inspired our St. Charles Living Room, where soft green color palettes, floral chintz, and collected antiques create a space that feels both sophisticated and inviting.

Our muse is C.Z. Guest herself, whose effortless style embodied the very best of American country elegance. I am drawn to her equestrian sensibility this season: beautifully tailored tweed jackets, soft cashmere capes, chocolate brown riding boots, and classic cable-knit sweaters in shades of ivory. A gold Cartier watch, a timeless Hermès bag, and a few touches of green complete the look. These are pieces that feel equally at home in the countryside or the city, refined yet wonderfully practical.
