Spring is underway and we are celebrating all of the beauty that comes with seeing the flowers bloom! This month, I am incredibly inspired by our Kansas City project featured in House Beautiful's Spring 2023 issue. The entire house and palate was inspired by a custom de Gournay wallpaper on a cobalt background. The bursts of pink and red roses along with the lush green landscape in the wallpaper set the backdrop of not only the dining room, but the the entire house. It is fitting that the project is published in the spring. Room to room, it is a true spring scene.
I've long been intrigued with red and blue and the color pairing found in Imari porcelain was a huge catalyst for our Kansas City project. I wanted to explore the range of colors (deeper blues, reds, and corals) found in Japanese ceramic tradition, as well as include these pieces throughout each room. The floral patterns may speak to spring, but they are timeless! I am so inspired by all of the beautiful blooms happening outside my window and love when those blooms can be reflected inside.

Inspired by American style icon Billy Baldwin, our newest collection with Anthropologie incorporates classic style with a modern and whimsical twist through, of course, blue and white! Comprised of gorgeous bedding and bath linens, rugs, apparel, decorative accessories, and color patterned upholstered furniture, there is so much beauty to discover in the collection.

Our longtime collection with Schumacher consists of luxurious fabrics with modern takes on my go-to favorites: a pretty chinoiserie floral, a smart ikat, a playful paisley medallion, and, of course, stripes. Each piece is designed to mix and match in fresh color groupings including blues and whites, neutrals, and reds.
MDS RATTAN
In collaboration with Soane Britain, our Lily Collection was created to bring rattan back indoors! The pieces include an armchair whose eye-catching base brings to mind a rippled fabric, a drum table, and a slipper chair in the manner of American style icon Billy Baldwin. Plus, the red and floral fabrics are blooming with beauty.
