Every new year brings a “fresh start," a new beginning, and even a palette cleanser, if you will. Doesn’t it feel good? It's a wonderful time to remove the clutter and start afresh. Here at Mark D. Sikes Interiors, we used this first month of the new year to rid, reorganize, and reset. We painted a lot of things white in our studio to have a clean slate to start our year off, and we also took time to set some goals in preparation for all of the big plans we have this coming year!
In addition to all the wonderful projects we are working on all over America, our new book FOREVER BEAUTIFUL debuts in September. New collections with Schumacher, Samuel & Sons, Chesney’s, Hudson Valley Lighting, and Chaddock are also on the horizon! We have found that when we do some ridding, refocusing, and resettling, we can be even more creative and organized—and it feels so good! 2024 is indeed going to be beautiful!

In our first collection of outdoor lighting for Troy Lighting, The Beautiful Outdoors, we pay homage to California style. Comprised of five signature styles, the collection features pieces that would feel at home anywhere.

Sikes for Schumacher line of luxurious fabrics consists of modern takes on my go-to favorites including a pretty chinoiserie floral, a smart ikat, a playful paisley medallion, and, of course, stripes. Proving the power of pattern, each piece is designed to mix and match in fresh color groupings including blues and whites, neutrals, and reds.
