February feels tailored. The pace is steady, the palette refined, and there’s comfort in returning to structure after the softness of winter. This month’s inspiration comes from Bill Blass’s legendary Sutton Place living room, designed by MAC II — a space that embodied American sophistication at its most confident. Polished but inviting, layered yet restrained, it was a masterclass in balance and proportion.

Our muse is Bill Blass himself, whose personal style mirrored his interiors. He understood the power of impeccable tailoring. This month, I am drawn to houndstooth blazers, chocolate brown sweaters, and sweeping fur coats worn for the ultimate touch of glamour. For the home, I am loving Scalamandré tiger print velvet pillows and gleaming gold accents from Aerin. These are the building blocks of a wardrobe — and a life — rooted in elegance and sophistication, with pieces that never go out of style.
