May feels like a gentle shift into summer. The light lingers a little longer, and everything begins to soften into shades of white and ivory. This month’s inspiration comes from Lee Radziwill, whose effortless elegance always felt perfectly in tune with the season — polished, understated, and impossibly chic.

I often look to her homes, layered and glamourous, for inspiration. Her London living room designed by the great Renzo Mongiardino guided our tented and Indian batik entry hall at the WOW!house in London from few years ago, where we created a richly layered space of gold and ivory textiles with a scenic Indian landscape wallpaper by Iksel.

This month, I am drawn to that same color scheme: crisp white separates, a simple ivory dress to throw on in the heat, and gold accessories that feel simple yet considered. It is a palette that carries you easily from spring into summer, where less feels like more and every detail is chosen with care.
