March always brings the garden back into focus. The air softens, the light grows brighter, and there is a quiet excitement in preparing the ground for the season ahead. This month’s inspiration comes from Bunny Mellon’s legendary potting shed at Oak Spring Farm, with its whimsical trompe l’oeil murals of climbing vines and garden tools. It is a place where utility meets beauty and where the color green feels endlessly fresh.

This month, the Fall 2026 Dior show by Jonathan Anderson was presented in the Tuileries Garden in Paris, which felt like a perfect continuation of this garden story. From the lily pads to the metal chairs painted the perfect shade of green, it offered another beautiful layer of inspiration.

Our muse is Bunny Mellon herself, whose devotion to gardens shaped not only landscapes but a way of living. I am drawn to the elegance of her gardening ritual: a straw hat, beautiful gloves, bamboo shears from Aerin, and the ever-reliable green military jacket. These are the pieces that make time outdoors feel purposeful and chic, reminders that tending the garden can be just as stylish as any other pursuit.
