Flowers bloom in vibrant pinks, corals, and yellows, echoing the joy and renewal of the moment. As the days grow longer and warmer, we find ourselves inspired by this seasonal shift—carrying its spirit into our interiors year-round.

One of our enduring muses this season is Tory Burch, whose layered, collected style feels perfectly attuned to the mood of May. Whether it's her traditional Southampton home, filled with color, print, Iksel wallpapers, and a bohemian spirit, or her Antigua beach retreat—the former home of Bunny Mellon—filled with wicker, bamboo, and storied antiques, her approach is timeless yet always fresh.

This spirit is something we strive to capture in our work. We love to infuse interiors with botanical prints, floral and paisley fabrics, Iznik tiles, flowering plants, and bowls of citrus—elements that bring the outside in and keep the feeling of May alive all year long.

Even in fashion, we lean into the season: linen tunics, flowing caftans, embroidered dresses, straw hats, and sandals. It’s about ease, elegance, and embracing beauty without formality.

In that spirit, our Mission Hills, Kansas project found its own seasonal muse in a centuries-old collection of Imari porcelain. These richly detailed Japanese ceramics—adorned with birds, flowers, and mythological creatures in cobalt, coral, and gold—became the foundation for a joyful, color-rich home that blends heritage and modern comfort.

With layered millwork, coral Pierre Frey textiles, custom-painted wallpapers, and unexpected design discoveries—like a fully wrapped U-shaped banquette—the home reflects what inspires us most right now: nature, craft, color, and the feeling that every day is in bloom.
