Autumn Midwest Classic

There’s something cinematic about November. The light is warm, leaves turn shades of gold and amber, the air feels cool and full of possibility. Textures like velvet and mohair feel right for this season and bring a luxurious feeling to a room. It is a month made for driving with the top down and donning a camel hair jacket with a favorite pair of denim and riding boots.

Our muse this month is Lee Radziwill, the eternal symbol of polish and poise. She understood contrast: the casual paired with the exquisite, the old balanced by the new, the way neutrals could whisper louder than any color. Whether in a trench coat in Paris or a turtleneck in Manhattan, Lee embodied the kind of effortless refinement that never goes out of style.

We carried that same sensibility into our client project — a historic home outside Chicago, designed for a young family who wanted rooms that honor the past yet feel fresh and alive. The palette is drawn straight from the season: browns, ivories, and camels, soft and layered like autumn leaves. Each space feels warm and inviting with rich colors, luxe velvets and leathers, and tailored silhouettes that balance comfort and grace. The result is a home that feels collected, composed, and timeless — a study in restraint and warmth, much like Lee herself.

As fall deepens, we’re drawn to simplicity and texture, to materials that feel luxurious in the hand and tones that feel right in the season. It’s about ease and elegance — the kind that never asks for attention, it simply exists.

BEAUTIFUL THINGS

HUDSON VALLEY LIGHTING

Forever Classics, is our fourth lighting collection with Hudson Valley Lighting. This collection is a thoughtful evolution of our past work, blending beloved, best-selling designs with fresh silhouettes and natural materials to create timeless, versatile pieces that celebrate beauty in everyday living.

SCHUMACHER

Departing from convention, we set out to design fabrics that defy stereotypes, focusing on grounding solids, rich textures, small scale prints, and a timeless color palette that forms the cornerstone of every project. Additionally, we wanted to create wallpaper panels that effortlessly work back to our existing fabrics with Schumacher.

SAMUEL AND SONS

Our Orange Hill Farm Collection for Samuel & Sons embodies the timeless allure of country living and the vibrant beauty of citrus groves. This collection is thoughtfully divided into three sub-collections: City, Coastal, and Country. Each sub-collection is based around motifs that our firm is recognized for: the Rosette, the Stripe, and the Check.
