From Mark's Desk

Our many projects have taken us far and wide but there's nothing like decorating locally in Los Angeles. On my desk right now is the scheme for a guest house in the Pacific Palisades. During the renovations of their main house, our wonderful clients will be living here. Knowing this, I wanted to make sure that this often-overlooked space was just as special as I know the main house will be.

I can always rely on a palette of blue and white to bring a timeless, yet comfortable and casual look. This guest house is just off the property's pool and surrounded by gardens. I wanted to make sure that we captured the feeling of the beautiful Southern Californian environment that's in our design DNA.

THE LILY COLLECTION

The Lily collection created in collaboration with Soane Britain brings rattan back indoors. The pieces include an armchair whose eye-catching base brings to mind a rippled fabric, a drum table, and a slipper chair in the manner of American style icon Billy Baldwin.

MDS FOR CHADDOCK

Our most recent collection of furniture with Chaddock is entitled "City, Coastal, Country." Drawing inspiration from each of these three environments, we have created timeless furniture you can customize, curate, and collect.

MORE CLASSICS

More Classics, my new lighting collection, is a continuation of the first collection with Hudson Valley Lighting. It features recurring themes like painted shades and spherical forms infused with a British sensibility for a captivating second act.
