As the days grow longer and the air starts to feel a little warmer, we are thrilled to welcome the arrival of spring! It's that time of the year when nature bursts back to life, painting the world with vibrant hues of green and inspiring a desire to be outdoors.
At Mark D. Sikes Interiors, we're embracing the spirit of renewal and rejuvenation that comes with the season. It’s a time when we are inspired to refresh our surroundings, infusing them with the vibrancy and vitality that nature so generously offers.
As we welcome the onset of spring and bid farewell to winter's chill, we're excited that our newest collection - MDS Basics and Panels for Schumacher - is now available. Capturing the essence of this month's theme, MDS Spring Garden, our green chinoiserie panel works back to our green chinoiserie vine fabric. Alongside these highlights, our collection features an extensive range of solids, stripes, and checks, offering ample options for coordination and design versatility.

THE BEAUTIFUL OUTDOORS
In our first collection of outdoor lighting for Troy Lighting, The Beautiful Outdoors, we pay homage to California style. Comprised of five signature styles, the collection features pieces that would feel at home anywhere.
MDS BASICS AND PANELS FOR SCHUMACHER
Departing from convention, we set out to design fabrics that defy stereotypes, focusing on grounding solids, rich textures, small scale prints, and a timeless color palette that forms the cornerstone of every project. Additionally, we wanted to create wallpaper panels that effortlessly work back to our existing fabrics with Schumacher.
MDS RATTAN
In collaboration with Soane Britain, our Lily Collection was created to bring rattan back indoors! The pieces include an armchair whose eye-catching base brings to mind a rippled fabric, a drum table, and a slipper chair in the manner of American style icon Billy Baldwin. Plus, the floral fabrics are blooming with beauty.

This month, we find ourselves greatly influenced by the work of David Hicks. His lasting legacy in interior design is epitomized by the adept use of vibrant hues, intricate carpet designs, innovative lighting strategies, and the seamless integration of classic and contemporary styles.
