August always feels like the month the world slows down. Across Europe, shops shutter, cities quiet, and everyone escapes to the seaside. The days stretch out lazily with palm trees swaying overhead, seashells scattered along pink sands, and lunches that linger long into the evening. It is the season of leisure, when summer reaches its most romantic stride.

This month, my muse is Grace Kelly, an American icon who found her home, and her crown, along the glittering coast of Monaco. With her white swimsuits, headscarves, and timeless elegance, she embodied the refined spirit of European summers. Polished but understated, Grace reminds us that beauty is often at its best when it is simplest.

Inspiration this August is drawn from both the Old World charm of Bermuda. From its palm-shaded verandas to its seashell-strewn beaches, Bermuda holds a spirit that feels refined yet relaxing. My palette this month is all white, featuring eyelet dresses that flutter in the breeze, cotton sets that feel as effortless as the season itself, cable-knit sweaters to drape over sun-tanned shoulders, classic polos, and espadrilles made for walking seaside promenades. These are the pieces that capture summer at its chicest: clean, fresh, and undeniably timeless.
